Sometimes more often than not, It’s whats on the OUTSIDE that counts!

Most people mean well, they try to do good things and sometimes they wish they did more for others than they actually do but deep down they are good people who mean well. 

Have you ever been in a situation where you look back and say, ” I really wish I would have done something” It could have been that you were driving down the road and saw someone on the side of the road with a flat tire and they looked like they needed help but you just kept going. You thought about stopping to see if they were ok or if you could help but you just didn’t for some reason??

We all have been in this situation. Some people dont even hesitate, they just stop imediatly and run over to help others in need and some people just watch as others become the hero of the day, thinking to themselves, ‘why didnt I do something”.

We all have the ability to make a difference in peoples lives everyday, but so few actually do it. They think about it but never actually take action when the moment arises..

It reminds me of the old saying, ” its the thought that counts”. Well that may be true if you forgot to send someone a birthday card or if you were thinking about doing the dishes but you waited to long and your spouse did them and you say, I was just thinking about doing them! and she says, ” Well its the thought that counts” and laughs about it..  

But when it comes to doing good deeds or just plain being a good human being and actually going out of your way to help a total stranger, we seem to fall short on our good intentions. why?

We seem to think we are good people and that by not helping someone it doesn’t change the fact that we are good people, So we rationalize with ourselves that we will do it next time or “the next time I see someone in need I will definitely help” but this time I am just to busy or I am late for something or I cant change a tire so it wouldn’t be of help for me to stop anyway.”

Reward

In this post I would like to challenge you to make more of an effort next time the situation arises, actually do something for someone else without any expectations of a reward but just because if the tables were turned you would probably want someone to help you..

“The grandest things are , in some ways the easiest to do because there is so little competition.“ 

We take for granted how good we have it sometimes and we think that people who are having problems or need help probably deserve the circumstances that they find themselves in and that it is their own damn fault for running out of gas or for getting into an accident or for having an old piece of junk for a car, but the truth is that we are all one and interconnected in some way shape or form and that if you happen to be present at the moment that someone needs your help and you “choose” not to do anything, with the attitude that you are still a good person deep down but this time I am just not in the mood to stop and help, than you are missing out on one of the greatest rewards that life has to offer.

It doesnt matter what is on the inside, meaning your intentions, Its only when you act on your intentions that makes them have meaning. It truly is whats on the outside that counts. Its not what you say that matters it is what you do that makes all the difference in this world.

“People judge you by your actions, not your intentions. You may have a heart of gold but so does a hard boiled egg.” Good Reading

So my challenge is for you to “Do unto others as though you were the others” and you will See rewards that far out way any negatives that could possibly arise from simply being of service to others..

To Your Unlimmited Success, 

Here is a Affirmation that I have memorized 20 years ago and have said to myself in my mind at least once a day since then.

It should only take you about 10 recitals to memorize it and the rewards will be unbelievable. You will start to make things happen in your life at will, and once your thoughts align with the words I’m about to share with you, words  that I beleive are responsible for allowing me to harmonize my thoughts and manifest my wishes on command, words that have only failed when I failed to use them, You too will see what it is like to be one with the creator as the creator is one with you.

I have never shared this piece of the puzzle and some might think that it is not necessary to know this to be successful, but I believe that if you come by success in any other way that it will be fleeting and short lived and not in alignment with Gods natural laws of abundance.

I would also like to point out that you deserve to be Rich. You deserve to have everything that your heart desires and to live a full and rich life, God did not create all the riches in the world for you to admire or resent others for having, He wanted you to be Rich, In many ways not just financially, I happen to know personally some very wealthy people who are not rich in most areas of their lives. they are the most miserable of the bunch, always bored with life and complaining about one thing or another. They take for granted their current and temporary financial situation and spend money foolishly to impress others, and think that it is the only measure of a persons worth.

I can only hope for your sake, that if you apply the words in this affirmation to your life that you will remember where your good fortune came from when it comes, and it will come.

Words are the seeds of your tomorrows, when they are planted in your minds eye, they will manifest themselves into their physical reality. Most people think that they see with their eyes and think with their mind but the truth is, You do not see with your eyes, you see through your eyes, your eyes are simply a window that your mind looks through to imagine something. when you look at a tree, it is your mind that pictures the tree and creates the image of it in your mind, not your eyes.

When you write words on paper you are spelling them with your mind and your mind forms the image of those words and interprets their meaning. In order for anything to be created in this physical world we live in, words have to be spoken first, It is the law.

And God Said, Let there be….

Everything that is was first a spoken word, the chair you’re sitting on was created after someone said they needed to make something to sit on, then they imagined the words they just spoke in their mind and pictured the chair in the form that it would soon take.

You do not need to wonder if what I am saying is true, Just know that it is and that will save you from having to argue with yourself.

The following Prayer, or (affirmation for those who think praying is for weak people) will change your life if used properly. Remember words are seeds and seeds not planted properly will not create the harvest in your life that you are looking for. In order for your harvest to be delivered to you, You must visualize what it is you want to create, it doesn’t have to be something you need, In fact, there really isn’t much that you need that isn’t already provided to you.

Here are the instructions for using my secret affirmation, Take this seriously, This is very powerful as you will soon find out.

Step 1;  I find it is best when you are just lying down to sleep or if you have a moment of silence sometime during your day, you must block out all distractions and calm your mind.

Step 2;  Focus on what it is that you want in crystal clear detail, see yourself in the thought using the thing that you want, if it is a beautiful home, see yourself walking through it, see your self going from room to room and see each room as you would like it to be. Notice the floors and the windows, notice the furnishing and the grand piano and the elaborate crown moldings, or anything that suites your fancy.

Step 3;  At the same time that your are visualizing your future as you want it to be you will be planting these words in your mind, this is crucial that you do this concurrent to your thoughts. the best way I can explain it is that is is like planting a seed in the ground. There are certain elements that need to be included and the conditions must be just right for the seed to germinate, the soil has to be right, the water and the air and the sunlight all have to be working in unison.

This will become easier every time you do it, and before you know it you will have it memorized and you will no longer have to think of what you are saying and you can focus more on how you are saying it… it is that simple…..

Are you ready?

First, you need to have a clear image of what you want to manifest. if it is a house, a car or a certain amount of money then you need to be specific. Memorize the following and overlay that to your thoughts and prepare yourself to be given power of creation as you have always had but never knew..

“I Have absolute trust in God and all things good. I know that I will be able to meet any situation at any time for God is my immediate source of supply, Presenting me with all the necessary Ideas in the right way and at the right time, God Riches are forever flowing freely in my life and there is always a Divine surplus, And as I repeat these truths I know my mind is being conditioned to receive Divine supply forever flowing.”

 Amen and Amen

“Wisdom for Millionaires”

Now go out there and think BIG, BIGGER THAN YOU EVER THOUGHT,

C’MON NOW, I MEAN REALLY BIG and don’t forget to take action towards your goals, that is the third element that says to the universe that you really meant it when you conceived the thought…. And finally the final element, be Grateful for your blessings, The realized and the unrealized!

To your Unending, Uninterrupted, Unlimited Success, 

Have you ever been offered something that you turned down or said no to then found out later that you should have said yes? I’m sure you have, as we all have made that mistake. When your gut tells you to do something and you say no anyway it is not because you were born that way or because something is wrong with your intuition.

It is because you have been conditioned from birth to say no! The very first words you heard when your mind was developing were the words NO, STOP, DONT, CANT, QUIT IT and every other variation of those words. Your mommy said No to you repeatedly growing up every time you ask for something she didn’t want you to have.

Imagine growing up without that word, imagine how your life would be different if the word No wasn’t in your vocabulary. Imagine if the word “CANT” was never taught to you.. By saying no to everything you are only seeing the tip of the Iceberg and missing out on the big picture and all the possibilities….

Basketball Diary

Recently I was playing basketball with a 6 year old named Drea, He kept missing the basket and I kept saying you can do it, you’ll make this one and I noticed right before every shot he attempted to make he would say “I CANT” its to high, I CANT its to far, I immediately stopped him and said to him, do you want to make the basket? He said YES! I said that you only have to change one thing then, he said what? I said right before you shoot the ball you keep saying “I cant” and all you have to do is change that one thing to “I CAN” and you will start making it in! He of course didn’t believe me that it could be that easy and he continued to say I cant and kept missing..

Now after letting him come to the conclusion that he was doing everything right except for that one thing he finally agreed to try it my way. He lined up the shot, put his eyes on the hoop and I said, OK now say I can make it in, I can make it in, He threw the ball up and it hit the rim and circled the rim and it was like slow motion going around the rim, I said say it again hurry!! He yelled I can make it in! and the ball dropped in the hoop….

Now of course I realize that he was bound to make it eventually but because he said he could and he did, this changed everything for him, he now plays basketball with a whole different attitude. The attitude that he will make it in and he does, very well in fact he rarely misses now! He doesn’t say it outloud anymore because I taught him to just think of it going in, picture it going through the hoops right before you throw it.

I’ve also noticed that whenever he gets scared to do something he starts to mumble ” I can do it” I can do It” and then he does! no matter what it is! Its pretty empowering for him.

Step it up a notch  shall we? 

What if I offered you ONE MILLION DOLLARS CASH, to jump out of an airplane WITHOUT a parachute?!?

Chances are you would probably say NO! to that offer, in fact 99.9% of people with whom I ask this question to do say NO, are you crazy? they say, what good would a million dollars be if I’m dead?

The moral to the story is, don’t say no until you have all the facts.

Back when I was training hundreds of sales reps to become better closers I would have to do TO’s, that’s sales lingo for “take over” when a sales rep would hit a brick wall with a customer and they felt they were going to lose the sale I would ask them to put the customer on hold, then I would jump on the phone and take over the call, If I couldn’t turn the customer around then no one could! I was a master closer.

The Take Over

My first question after telling the customer that I was the director of operations and I just wanted to see if there was anything I could do to help the customer make a more informed and intelligent decision, I would say, Mr Customer, what exactly are you saying no to? because there is no reason to sit there and rebuttal someone who hasn’t even told you why they are declining your offer. Once the customer told me that the reason they are saying no was that blah, blah, blah, I could then fine tune my response to accommodate that one particular issue.

And then I would say, Mr Jones, I understand you are not interested and thats fine but before you go, may I ask you one question? and he would say yes, go a head, I would say, If I gave you 1 million dollars cash to jump out of an airplane without a parachute would you do it? and 9 times out of 10 they would say no.. 

Then I would say well you answered the question wrong Mr Jones, You see, Had you just got a little more information from me, asked a few questions and dug a little deeper you would have discovered that the airplane was on the ground. The moral of the story is that you shouldn’t make any decisions until you have all the facts, now lets make sure you have all the facts and I would continue on with the presentation. and usually make the sale, 80% of the time. the other 20% were people who hung up on me because they thought I was being a smart ass and they knew I was right but they didn’t want to admit it!! 

Some will, Some wont, So what, Next..

My journey through life has taught me that I have recieve countless more blessings and accomplished a lot more goals and made a lot more dreams come true when I said yes to things instead of saying no. In fact I would go as far as to say that if you look back on your life, the only things you regret fully are the missed opportunities that you said no to! And the things you said yes to may not have all turned out the way you wanted but had you not done them you would have spent months or years or maybe a lifetime wondering if you should have! 

So next time an opportunity arises, before you say no, try to open your mind to the potential and ask yourself, Will the regret of not doing this out way the regret of doing it and failing? because I assure you that if you truly want to succeed, the best way to do that is to fail at a bunch of things that you at least tried to do because you have a 50/50 chance at success, 50% change it will work and a 50% chance it wont. But if you don’t try, you are guaranteed to have a 100% chance it wont work…

To Your Unending, Uninterrupted Abundance,

The theory is based on cause and effect and from my experience in my own life I have learned that whatever happens to you happens because of you. If it weren’t for you, it wouldn’t have happened to you in the first place.

Imagine if you will

Picture for a moment that you are just waking up in the morning, you look at the clock to see what time it is and you realize that you have over slept and you are going to be late for work. You jump out of bed in a mad rush to get ready. (Now we have all been in this situation before and most likely you have not thought about the turn of events that will arise from this situation and the consequences or effects that you have on the rest of the world around you.)

 You are rushing to get ready, you take a quick shower and throw on your clothes, brush your teeth (hopefully) and run out the door, you get in your car and peel out of your drive way cursing under your breath that you are late, blaming the alarm clock for not waking you up on time you grab your cell phone and with one hand on the wheel you are calling work to let them know you are on your way and you are probably making up some story as to why you are not there yet.

On your way to work you come to a red light, one of many to come. The first red light didn’t cause you to freak out because you weren’t really paying attention because you are still half asleep and are not in a good mood as it is, the light turns green finally and you take off trying to turn a 30 minute commute into a 10 minute commute. As you’re coming up to the next intersection you see that the light turns yellow and you have to slow down and stop again, now you are getting mad, Another damn red light you exclaim! 

After waiting what seems like 20 minutes for the light to turn green, again you are on your way and you floor it to try to make up for lost time. You come to the next signal and it is red AGAIN! what is going on you ask? why me!!? you are sitting at this light thinking out loud to yourself about the day ahead and that it is already off to a bad start and you happen to look in your rear view mirror while sitting at the red light and notice that the car coming up behind you is going way to fast and you just hope that the driver is going to stop, she still has time to slow down but your watching, and then you realize she is not going to stop and in this split moment in time your life flashes in front of your eyes, you realize you are about to get slammed into! you brace your self and BAM!

Your car is pushed forward into the car in front of you, your airbag went off sounding like an explosion and you have been jolted like you were, well, hit by a car. You have just been rear ended and after about 5 seconds you realize you are ok, you open the door cursing and screaming expletives I wont repeat here, you are yelling at the lady who hit you, what the hell is the matter with you? where did you get your drivers license, a cracker jacks box? Look at my car! you better have insurance! etc. etc.

The Law? Which Law?

Without knowing the true circumstances involved you continue to be upset and more concerned with your car and being late for work than you are with the person who hit you, maybe she needs help? but at the moment its all about you, after all it was her fault, right? well, yes and no. 

You see, in this world there are two sets of laws that are in effect at all times, there are mans laws and there are the universal laws of nature. According to mans laws it is her fault for hitting you and she or her insurance company will be liable for the damages.

According to the universal laws of nature it is just as much your fault as hers, after all, if you were not there at that moment in time you would not have been hit. And why were you there at that moment in time? because you were late for work? maybe, but had you gotten up on time and left for work when you were suppose to you would have not have been hit at that intersection.

We could end this analogy here and make the point but lets take it a little further shall we? I would go one step further and say it is all your fault but not in a bad way, you see maybe the woman who hit you was a very good driver but just happened to be 75 years old and lived a good life and was always responsible.

 And on this very day, her last day on this planet, she went out for a drive to the grocery store to do her normal Tuesday morning shopping and while she was driving, her heart stopped beating and God decided that it was her time. God also decided that it was Not your time so in his infinite wisdom he decided to use the woman to inconvenience you a little more. He may have a good sense of humor for all you know.

Or could it be that had she not hit you and the light turned green, that as you were going to cross that intersection that a semi truck trying to beat a yellow light crossing from the other direction would have slammed into you with enough force that you would have never known what hit you and since it wasn’t your time yet, God decided to stall you by having this little old lady rear end you to prevent you from crossing that intersection at that exact time that the truck was coming??

The point is that everything that happens to you happens because of you, good or bad, in fact, there is no such thing as good or bad, they are just different experiences and that even some things that we think are bad really aren’t that bad if you look at them from the perspective that it could have always been worse. We don’t really know the reasons things happen when they happen but if you live your life knowing that they are all happening for a reason and that the reason is probably in your best interest then it will allow you to float through life harmoniously and effortlessly. Like a butterfly. 

A Butterfly or a Beatle 

Hopefully this situation doesn’t happened to you but if it does, the first thing you should do is be thankful and have gratitude. Sounds counter intuitive to be thankful for getting hit by a car but again, it is not for you to know the reasons that certain things happen but for you to learn and grow from them because everything that you experience in your life is just that, an experience.  

 We all have heard the song, ” you cant always get what you want” but if you try sometime, you just might find, you get what you need… Oh Yeah…

Does the flap of a butterflies wing in Brazil Cause a tornado in Texas?

I cant answer that, but I can say without a doubt that something caused the tornado, and something caused the thing that caused the tornado, and something caused the thing that caused the thing that cause it, and something caused the thing that caused the thing that caused the thing to cause it and so on and so on. Life is all about cause and effect and action and reaction. Your actions cause a reaction that vibrate indefinitely throughout time and space and everything matters and everything makes a difference in some way or another.

Starfish on the beach

Just like the story about the man walking down the beach throwing starfish back in to the ocean, and an  observer walked up to him and said, what are you doing? he replied, I’m saving these starfish that washed up on the beach from the storm.” And the the observer says, there are thousands of them. You cant save them all. You are wasting your time! it wont make any difference! and the man says to him, “tell that to the one I just threw back in.” 

Once you start to live your life like this, the world becomes more beautiful. You start to see things that you would have not noticed before. When you become aware of your infinite oneness and realize that you are connected to everything in someway and that what you do in your life matters in more ways than you can imagine and that even the little things can make a huge difference in your life and the lives of others, not only other people but all living things. They all deserve your consideration.

Walk the walk

You should talk and act like someone who is grateful for what you have had, what you have and what you will have. You might ask, how can you be grateful for something you don’t have yet? I would say, how can you ever expect to have it if you are not already grateful for it? you might say, I have had some bad things happen in my life, why should I be grateful for that? I would say, because those things that have happened to you, good or bad have made you the person you are today. Every single experience, every little thing along the way has molded you and formed you in to the person you are and prepared you to be ready for  the things to come that you haven’t received yet and that you weren’t ready to receive before you were prepared for them.. it is what it is.. deal with it..  

The Rabbi and the goat farmers

There is an old parable about two old goat farmers walking down a dirt road. They come across a rabbi who stops to talk to them. So how goes it for you the Rabbi asks? the one goat farmer replies, oh its terrible Rabbi, every morning I wake up and it seems to be worse than the last day, nothing seems to go my way, life is just terrible! I’m miserable, I don’t know what I’m going to do… Well God just happened to be eavesdropping on this conversation and says, So your life is terrible is it? you don’t know what terrible is! I’ll show you what terrible is you miserable ungrateful lout!

Then the Rabbi turns to the other goat farmer, and you? how are you? the other goat farmer says, life is great Rabbi, every morning when I wake up I am so grateful for the life I have and my family, and every morning I give thanks for all the blessing that have been bestowed on me, I cant wait to see what the day brings and just know that it will be filled with wonder and joy!! life is great! and when the second goat farmers praise reached the heavens above, God said with excitement and pleasure, you think your life is great now!? I’m going to show you what great is!!

And my friends, that really is the way it is! be grateful for everything you have. And everything you will have will continue to be better than you ever had. It is the universal laws of nature and it is a beautiful thing!…..

Most people go through life with no direction and no Idea of what they want to do let alone why they are here. I’m sure you have thought about why you are here and what your life is all about otherwise you wouldn’t be here reading this right now, so congratulations on being deep thinker!!

Everyone has something to offer this world and if you’re not a producer of something then you are simply a consumer of other people’s product’s and services. And whether you like it or not, people who are the producers of goods or services are generally the wealthiest among us.

What does this have to do with your purpose in life? Well, If you think about why you are here on this planet and what’s it all about, I can assure you that you are not here to simply consume other peoples goods and services. You are here to grow and to learn about life and yourself and to become ” Of  Service” to other people NOT in need of service from them.

True Beauty

Have you ever watched the show “True Beauty”?  If not it’s about people who were brought on to a reality show thinking that it was a competition about how beautiful they are and to see who was the most beautiful. However the contestant’s have no idea that they are being judged by their inner beauty more than their outer beauty. They would test them by putting them into situations and seeing if they ” do good ” by other’s or if they are self centered and selfish.

I personally can’t stand the show but it is an interesting display of what this world is coming to and how people really are.

Stats

I would say that probably 75% of gen x and gen y these day’s care more about their favorite celebrity and their clothes and how they look to their friends than they care about who they really are and what life really means.

I have noticed that most people don’t come into their own self awareness until they reach their thirties and most people who are fortunate enough to be successful at something don’t truly have success and fulfillment in their lives until they reach their forties and fifties if they ever do at all.

It is a small percentage of the entire population that ever breaks free from the rat race and discovers a whole new world where they are in control of their lives and not dependant or relying on any third party for their livelihood.

If you truly want to be all that you can be then you need to be a Creator of your circumstances and not a victim of your circumstances.

It’s all in the marketing

For me, It wasn’t until I read enough books on personal development that I determined that the people writing them had no more experience than I did in some of the subject matter, In fact some book’s were even best sellers on the most well known best sellers list’s and the authors of those book’s were enjoying great success. Traveling the world speaking at events and seminars on their topic. They were on TV doing interviews and they were invited guest’s on talk shows like Oprah and CNN and the Today show to name a few, and their book wasn’t even that good but that didn’t matter because they just took action and made it happen.  They didn’t let it stop them even if they knew that they were not great writers.

In fact, some of the biggest sellers out there were not written by good writers, they were written by good marketers and that made me want to get started writing my book because I knew that if they could do it, so could I.

They were doing what I wanted to do and the only difference between them and myself  is that they took action towards their goal and took the neccessary steps to get them to that point. All of which anyone can do! Even you. Especially you!!

You are an expert at something

We all have something to offer this world. We all have unique talents and gift’s to share. We all have a book inside of  us! We have all had many experiences in our lives that have shaped us and made us who we are and brought us to the point in our lives where we could really help other’s who are about to face those challenges and obstacles in their own journey through life that we have already gone through.

Loving what you do

How good would it feel for you to wake up every morning knowing that you were doing exatly what you loved to do while at the same time helping other’s to grow and to learn their true potential or knowing that the information or service that you provide is changing someone elses life for the better and making a difference in this world?

I can tell you from my own experience that it is an amazing feeling. No more waking up dreading the day ahead knowing that you have to go to work all day for a company or a person who barely knows you exist. Pretending to be interested in the product or services that you are providing. Or even worse selling a product or service that you know in your heart is not benefiting the customer and that you are only doing it to make money! We have all been there.  At a dead end job that drains you of your energy both mentally and physically.

J.O.B.

Perhaps you are working at a job right now that you cant stand and the only reason you are there is because you think you don’t have a choice and you have to work in order to put food on the table. I have been there to and I know how bad that sucks.

Nothing is worse than the feeling that you are not fulfilling your destiny and that you know you are here for something more and something better but you just don’t know how to go about getting to that place where you are in control and feel great about what you do and where you have the potential to make an incredible living if only you knew how to start.

One step at a time

The fact is that you will never get there if you don’t first start on the path that will lead you there. You must take that first step towards your goals even if you don’t know exactly where the path is leading you because the truth is, you can only go as far as you can see but when you get there, you will always be able to see farther and then you will have doors open and opportunities that weren’t available to you before start to happen everywhere you look! It’s very exciting  just to know that you are moving in the right direction.

Imagine your new life

You do not need to leave your current job to start on the path towards freedom. Infact it may even be hard to imagine the life you could be living when you finally reach your goals of becoming the person you dream to be but you should be doing just that, Imagining. Imagining exactly what it is that you want to do. Imagine it to the very last detail and hold the image in your mind. Live in that image as if you already were that person doing those things and living that lifestyle.

Visualization

It is very important that you visualize your life exactly the way you WANT  it to be and not the way it is.  If you dwell on the way things are they will continue to be that way. You are a product of your thoughts and like it or not what you think about you bring about in so many ways. Good or bad thoughts will manifest. We cannot all think of only good thoughts every second of the day. Bad thoughts or negative thoughts somehow have a way of creeping into our minds when we least expect them but what you need to do when that happens is to immediately deny the thought access into your life. dismiss the thought or idea by just saying NO!  That’s not the way it is going to be! and get back to the thoughts that you want to manifest.

The problem that most people have with manifesting the life they want is that they falsly beleive that all they have to do is simply think of what they want and it will happen. this is not true as I’m sure you’ve discovered. We have all wished for things and we all have thought about a better life, and that alone will not produce the life you want.

Ready, Fire, Aim

Instead you must think about what it is you want in crystal clear detail. Write it down on paper. See it down to the last detail in vivid color. and then…….., here it is…….., the most crucial part!

YOU MUST TAKE ACTION TOWARDS THOSE THINGS YOU WANT IN ORDER FOR THE UNIVERSE TO TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY AND START INTO MOTION THE NECCESSARY EVENTS THAT WILL  BRING ABOUT THE RESOURCES AND PEOPLE INTO YOUR LIFE THAT CAN HELP YOU GET TO WHERE YOU WANT TO BE. PERIOD.

Now the best way to do this is pretty simple. Back in the day when I wanted a big house on the water I used to drive around very expensive neighborhoods looking for houses for sale. Then I would call the realtor and act like an interested buyer and make an appointment to see the house. I would be given a tour of the home and I would walk through the house with the realtor and if I didn’t like the house she would suggest 4 other homes that she had listed on the water that I may be interested in. Then she would take me to all of them and I would get to walk through all of these million dollar homes on the water for free without any obligation to buy. I love going into other people houses and seeing how they look on the inside! its fun!

I am sure the realtor would have loved to know that I wasn’t financially ready to buy any of those homes at the time but the funny thing is that I did eventually buy one and I did use that same realtor years later when I was ready so it actually wasn’t a waste of her time to show me. I was money in the bank for her. Eventually… Because in my mind I already owned the house, it just hadn’t delivered itself to me yet..

I also used to go to car dealerships and test drive luxury cars and sports car’s. Sometimes they would let me take the car out for a test drive by myself and I would go on my lunch break from work then show back up at work with a new car and show it off!  What I was really doing was living in the moment as if the homes and the cars were already mine. There is no better way to visualize what you want than to actually be in possession of what you want. It gives you the immediate feeling of what it is like to have what you want. 

The point is that you must first take the necessary action steps towards what you want to create in your life in order for anything to actually happen. It is that simple.

Just do it

Take the first step even if your not sure what you are doing. Because when you take that first step, then the second step, things start to happen. You become more aware of things that can help you. Things start to take shape and finally doors start to open that not only were closed before but that you didn’t even know were there! Then you will start to notice something almost miraculous, well actually it is miraculous!  It is the natural laws of the universe that start to awaken in your life.

Couch potato or avocado?

Like a dormant avocado seed sitting on your window sill, Your life before just sat there and was waiting for you to do something. Like the seed, once you plant it ( take an action step) it starts to germinate and when that happens the true potential of that seed activates! like turning on a light switch it starts to do things that it would have never done had it remained on your window sill. It now starts on it’s journey to become an avocado tree and to grow to its full potential and instead of just sitting there TAKING up space it is now going to be GIVING back to the world in the form of more avocados, it is now PRODUCING something instead of CONSUMING space just sitting there waiting for something to happen..  

It is doing what it was put on this earth to do. And like the avocado seed, So should you!
